New Build Pathway - worst workman ship we've ever seen

The worst workmanship we have ever encountered was when Harrison Civils

Southwest LTD was requested to work on a stunning new home to install a new pathway.

Surprised by the callout to a new build? Let us explain why.

The homeowner contacted Harrison Civils Southwest LTD due to issues with uneven slabs that rocked from side to side when walked upon. Upon inspecting the site, our team discovered poor workmanship. The slabs had been installed incorrectly and weren't stable.

Our skilled team at Harrison Civils Southwest LTD decided to strip the pathway down to the original ground works. They then applied a fresh layer of three-in-one mix (consisting of 3 parts sand and 1 part cement). After lining and leveling the area, new slabs were laid with a 10mm compaction. As per the customer's request, the same type of slabs, concrete buff slabs, were used. Each slab was meticulously checked to ensure proper fitting and security for our customer.

The final outcome was remarkable, leaving our customer extremely pleased with the results. Harrison Civils Southwest LTD is scheduled to return to this remarkable new build to complete a patio during the summer months keep an eye out for updates on our blog.
